A truck of kindness

A new refrigerated truck was launched for the benefit of the Mifal Hachesed "Yad BeYad" , the donation of the "Friendship Fund" The truck will help transport refrigerated products for the welfare of Holocaust survivors and low-income families.

A new refrigerated truck was launched for the benefit of the aid organization Yad-Bid, one of the largest in Israel, which is located in the city of Lod and helps Holocaust survivors and low-income families.
 
The truck will carry donations of dairy and meat products, fruits and vegetables for the benefit of thousands of Lod residents who benefit from a wide variety of products ranging from cooked meals, weekly food baskets and even furniture and electrical appliances for the home.

He thanked the management of the Friendship Foundation, headed by Ms. Yael Eckstein
who continues the tradition of kindness and giving of her father Rabbi Yechiel Ekstein  Z”L Founder of the Friendship Foundation for donating the truck.
 
Mrs. Mali Aris, director of the organization’s offices: The truck will bring an abundance of refrigeration products for the welfare of Holocaust survivors and families who are struggling to survive due to the economic situation.
 
The organization’s VP Bezalel Globerman reveals the numbers behind the acts of kindness in Lod: last year Lod gave 650 tons of fruits and vegetables, 350 tons of dairy products, 1230 volunteers throughout the year.
