New backpacks for school students in need…

The manager of the "Yad B'Yad" charity offices, Mrs. Mally Aris, received a phone call from the principal of "Sapir" school in the city of Lod. During the conversation, the principal shared that there are children who come to school with torn backpacks, and some even with plastic bags.

The manager of the “Mifal Hachesed Yad Beyad”  offices, Mrs. Mally Aris, received a phone call from the principal of the “Sapir” school in the city of Lod.

During the call, the principal shared that there are five children who come to school with torn backpacks, and some even with plastic bags. Unfortunately, the parents are financially unable to purchase new backpacks for them.

In a quick and touching response, the school custodian of “Sapir” arrived this morning to collect five new branded backpacks, with the aim of making the children happy and giving them a sense of equality and security.

The “Yad Beyad” has been working for many years for the community, and this initiative joins a series of exciting actions aimed at improving the quality of life for residents in Lod.

“We are happy that we have the opportunity to help and support the students in need,” said Mally Aris, adding that “the smile on the children’s faces is the greatest reward for us.”

Mrs. Dorit Sofer, the principal of “Sapir” school, thanked the charity for the quick response and important assistance, noting that the students and their parents greatly appreciate the generous donation.

She expressed hope that this initiative will serve as inspiration for continued fruitful cooperation between schools, charities, and community organizations.

This action is an important reminder that together we can make a significant change and improve the lives of children in need.

The “Yad Beyad ” calls on the general public to continue donating, in order to enable the continuation of the blessed activity for the community.
