A Meeting of Unity and Kindness

A meeting between Rabbi Yaakov Globerman, founder of the "Yad B'Yad" charity organization, and the organization's CEO, Bezalel Globerman, with President Isaac Herzog.

On a festive and moving day, Rabbi Yaakov Gloiberman, founder of the “Yad B’Yad” charity organization, and the organization’s CEO, Mr. Bezalel Gloiberman, were honored to meet personally with President Isaac Herzog at his residence.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere and provided the organization’s representatives with an opportunity to share with the President the extensive and essential work of “Yad B’Yad,” which provides support to communities throughout Israel.

During the meeting, the representatives of “Yad B’Yad” presented the President with a special activity album summarizing the organization’s work for the past year.

The album contains moving field testimonies, documentation of the organization’s assistance and contributions, and a variety of projects supporting diverse communities – food distribution for those in need, clothing and footwear centers, distribution of hot meals, and more.

These initiatives aim to strengthen mutual responsibility in Israel and to create a community support network for all in need.

Rabbi Globerman emphasized the importance of mutual responsibility and unity in the nation, values that form the foundation of the organization’s mission.

As a gesture of unity, they presented the President with a special gift: the Four Species, representing the ability of all parts of the nation to come together as a unified whole.

President Herzog expressed his deep appreciation for the dedicated work of “Yad B’Yad” and their continuous efforts to strengthen social solidarity and bring hearts together, especially in challenging times.

At the conclusion of the meeting, as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for Rabbi Globerman, the President presented him with a special book—written by his grandfather, the former Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac HaLevi Herzog, of blessed memory—as a symbol of continuity, tradition, and deep connection to the values of the Israeli people and society.
