Dozens of volunteers, corporate employees, and community organizations are coming together for Yad Beyad’s massive packing operation, preparing rich holiday food packages for the elderly, Holocaust survivors, and families facing severe financial hardship.
At the Yad Beyad logistics center, preparations for the High Holidays are in full swing.
Every day, numerous volunteers arrive to help pack thousands of food baskets, ensuring that families in need can start the New Year with dignity and a full holiday table.
The Community Unites for Families in Need
We are deeply grateful for the support of dozens of volunteers and employees from leading Israeli companies and organizations, including the Israel Police, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), the Ayalim Association, and students from the Maor Chaim School in Lod, who have all joined hands for this mission of chesed (kindness).
Volunteers are packing large boxes filled with a wide variety of dry goods and essential pantry staples for the families.

During the distribution days, these packages will be supplemented with fresh, high-quality products, allowing families to prepare rich and diverse holiday meals.
The holiday packages will include:
Fresh Produce: Eight varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Dairy Products: A selection of fresh dairy staples.
Proteins: Chicken and fish fillets.
Pantry Staples: A rich variety of dry food items.
Our goal is not just to deliver food—it is to let these families know that someone cares about them, ensuring they can experience a joyful and dignified holiday.
