President Isaac Herzog heard firsthand about Yad B’Yad’s extensive humanitarian work for families in need, senior citizens, and lone soldiers, especially during the Tishrei holiday season.
Rabbi Yaakov Gloiberman, Founder and Chairman of the Yad B’Yad charitable organization, together with Bezalel Gloiberman, CEO of the organization, met with President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog, who invited them to present the organization’s wide-ranging charitable activities.
During the meeting, Rabbi Gloiberman and Bezalel Gloiberman briefed the President on Yad B’Yad’s ongoing assistance to families in need and vulnerable populations throughout Israel, with special emphasis on the organization’s extensive holiday operations during the Tishrei season.
As part of these efforts, food packages and holiday assistance were distributed to families in need, senior citizens, and lone soldiers, helping ensure that they could celebrate the holidays with dignity and with food on their tables.
President Herzog expressed his appreciation for the organization’s extensive volunteer work and learned about the many projects Yad B’Yad operates throughout the year.
During the visit, Rabbi Gloiberman and Bezalel Gloiberman presented the President with the Four Species in honor of Sukkot. President Herzog also reviewed Yad B’Yad’s activity book, which highlights the organization’s many humanitarian initiatives and community projects.
Rabbi Yaakov Gloiberman thanked the President for the warm reception and for his interest in the organization’s work, noting that Yad B’Yad is proud to serve as a vehicle for bringing dignity, assistance, and joy to those who need it most.
The meeting concluded in a warm atmosphere, with appreciation for the volunteers, supporters, and partners who enable Yad B’Yad to continue its mission throughout the year.
