At the logistics center of the Yad BeYad charity enterprises in Lod, female officers from the prison service gathered today to donate their time and energy for families and Holocaust survivors in need, this under the command of Gen. Alona Zherzhevski – head of the Ramla prisoner department.

The officers helped many hours in organizing and arranging the “Bridal Baskets” “Clothing and Footwear Center” and distributing hundreds of food packages that include fruits, vegetables, food products and Shabbat Halat which are given every Thursday for Holocaust survivors and families with little means.

The organization and scheduling of the volunteering day was done with the help of Mrs. Tali Zamir.
