Bank Leumi Joins the “Backpack for Every Child” Project

Bank Leumi employees arrived at the Yad B'Yad charity's logistics center in Lod to help pack thousands of new writing kits and school bags.

This morning, Bank Leumi employees arrived at the Yad B’Yad charity’s logistics center in Lod to help pack thousands of new writing kits and school bags.

The activity was part of the “School Backpack

for Every Child” project, which provides new writing kits and school bags to needy families across the country.

The “School Backpack for Every Child” project is now in its 24th consecutive year, aiming to assist children from families who cannot afford school supplies for the academic year.

Studies have shown that a student’s success depends on the basic tools they receive, and a new backpack and school supplies can significantly improve their chances of success.

Rabbi Yaakov Globerman, director and founder of the Yad B’Yad organization, thanked the Bank Leumi employees for their dedication and contribution to the needy children.

“Your effort and commitment are a wonderful expression of the values of giving and helping others,” said Rabbi Glieberman. “These children will start the school year with a smile and confidence thanks to you.”

We invite the general public and other companies to join and contribute for a better future for needy students.

Together, we can continue to strengthen the community and give every child the tools for success in school and life.
