In Israel, the “Yad B’Yad” organization is launching the “Hanukkah Campaign” to support needy families.

It is important to know that 1 in 4 Israelis live below the poverty line, and nearly 4 in 10 children in Israel suffer from deprivation, sometimes having to settle for less food at least once a day, according to important Israeli data.

While children eagerly anticipate Hanukkah with gifts and sufganiyot, parents who lack the means to provide these things for their children, like their classmates, experience great difficulty.

Each donation of 180 NIS will provide one family with: Hanukkah candles, sufganiyot, and gifts for the children.
