Thousands of Passover Food Packages Distributed Across Israel by Yad Beyad to Families in Need 🇮🇱🍷
Ahead of Passover, Yad Beyad launched a large-scale humanitarian operation to distribute thousands of holiday food packages to families in need throughout Israel.
The initiative ensured that elderly individuals, Holocaust survivors, struggling families, and lone soldiers could celebrate the holiday with dignity and joy. 
Each package included essential Passover items such as matzah and wine, along with poultry, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, and additional holiday staples.
The goal was simple but meaningful: to make sure every household could sit at a complete and respectful Passover table.
Preparation for the project lasted over a month, during which tons of matzah, wine, and food supplies were collected, sorted, and packed at the organization’s logistics center.
Hundreds of volunteers took part in the effort, including youth from Bnei Akiva and international student volunteers from Yahel, who came from around the world to support Israel during this challenging time.
Special delivery teams also brought food packages directly to the homes of Holocaust survivors and elderly residents who were unable to travel, ensuring no one was left behind.
In addition, the project extended support to lone soldiers, providing them with holiday food packages so they too could experience the warmth and spirit of Passover.
Officers from the Israel Police joined the operation and assisted with transportation, organization, and distribution—demonstrating a powerful partnership between community organizations and public service teams for the benefit of society.
This meaningful initiative reflects the spirit of unity and responsibility that defines the people of Israel. Thanks to donors, volunteers, and partners, thousands of families were able to celebrate Passover with dignity, hope, and joy
