For twenty-two years, the organization “Mifal Chesed Yad Yad” in the city of Lod has been holding a Purim meal like a king.

On Thursday from the early hours of the morning, the organization’s employees and volunteers worked on cooking, Ms. Zehava Asraf, the chef of the stew house, says, “This is the happiest day of my life – to cook on Purim for people who have no family.”

The meal was held in the organization’s dining hall where dozens of people participated and celebrated the Purim meal to joy and satiety.

Through additional volunteers, their sons Ms. Shoshi Tamim and the benefactor Naor Avraham, deliveries of dishes, meat and wine were distributed to all participants, while at the end they danced to the sound of Purim songs.

“We bring them the warmth, joy and food of the home,” says Rabbi Yaakov Gleiberman, director of the organization.
